Digital Log Utilities

Tools for POTA-friendly ADIF: validate park fields, bulk-edit common fields, map your contacts, upload once for the Activation hub (map + Share studio), convert CSV to ADIF, activations / hunter CSV analytics, and the Share studio graphic (includes activation summary text).

ADIF fixer & formatter

Upload an activator ADIF. We’ll validate MY_SIG_INFO / SIG_INFO style references, optionally set POTA program fields, add a common COMMENT, normalize references, and download a cleaned .adi.

Drag & drop your .adi here or click to browse.

If set, every QSO gets this park (typical single-park activation).

Validation runs on download; unusual references are flagged in POTA’s own uploader — we only apply light formatting here.

CSV → ADIF

Convert a simple spreadsheet export into POTA-oriented ADIF. Required columns (header row, case-insensitive):

  • call (or callsign)
  • date / qso_date — YYYY-MM-DD or YYYYMMDD
  • band
  • mode
  • Optional: time_on / time (defaults to 000000 UTC)
  • Optional: park / reference / my_sig_info — sets MY_SIG_INFO + POTA sig fields
  • Optional: state, dxcc, freq

Drag & drop your .csv here or click to browse.

ADIF Map

Upload an ADIF and open the same interactive map as before: sidebar, draggable stats/legend, band filters, title edit, and PNG export. Processing uses HamQTH lookups and may take a moment on large logs.

Log in (free account) to generate your map. The ADIF Map is not available to anonymous visitors.

Activation hub — one upload, map + Share studio

Upload your activator ADIF once (same limits and grid options as ADIF Map). You’ll land on a short page with two actions: open the interactive map (unchanged pipeline) or build your Share studio graphic — no second file pick. Your upload is kept for 24 hours on the server for repeat visits.

Log in (free account) to use the activation hub.

Activator export — activations.csv

Upload the activations CSV from your POTA account (statistics / export). We detect common column names, infer years from date fields, and compute overall metrics, per-year event and park counts, monthly activity, top parks, optional QSO/points totals when those columns exist, and downloadable JSON / CSV. Use the charts for overall trends or read the year table for detail.

Tip: For best charts, include an activation or hunt date column (names like Activation Date, Date, QSO Date work). Exports should include at least one date cell per row where possible.

Drag & drop activations.csv or click to browse

Hunter export — hunter_parks.csv

Upload your hunter parks CSV from POTA. Same analytics engine: overall totals, trends by year, monthly histogram, top hunted parks and regions, exports, and charts.

Tip: Prefer columns that contain a visit or hunt date (Hunt Date, Date, etc.) so year and month charts stay aligned with your export.

Drag & drop hunter_parks.csv or click to browse

Share studio — activation graphic

Upload your activator ADIF or CSV (same formats as elsewhere on this page). We build an Instagram-friendly 4:5 image with choosable visualizations (world atlas, zoomed field, HF radar, constellation, or band prism), top distances, band/mode breakdowns, and QSO / P2P / DXCC counts. HamQTH fills missing grids like the ADIF Map. Pick theme + viz, tweak the headline, then download PNG or copy a caption.

Drag & drop your log (.adi / .csv)

Upload a log to generate a graphic. Missing contact grids are filled with HamQTH (same parallel lookup as the ADIF Map tab) and, for P2P, the POTA park API when SIG_INFO is a park reference. Embedded fields still help: MY_GRIDSQUARE, GRIDSQUARE / QTH_LOCATOR / VUCC_GRIDS, STATE, DXCC. CSV may include a gridsquare column.
